Take a look at the news on any night of the week and you’ll certainly see that the top stories around the country are the dire financial situations that many people find themselves in right now. So many people struggling to pay their mortgages and other monthly bills; even to put food on the table. There are also so many out there who are “upside down” in their houses - meaning that they owe more on their homes than they are currently worth. This was the situation that I also found myself in; I owed more on the home than I could get from a sale but I still had to pay the hefty mortgage every month. I had to come up with something that would allow me to get caught up again and so l looked at the option to sell structured settlements.

When you sell structured settlements you are essentially selling annuity payments. My structured settlement was awarded to me about five years ago and ever since I have collected monthly payments from an annuity that was set up for this express purpose. The payments are mine to do with what I want - including selling them for a lump sum of cash. Getting cash for structured settlements is as easy as working with a reputable buyer who can lead the way through the process with professionalism and expertise.

I worked with a buyer who had a strong reputation in the industry and could help us make heads and tails of our situation. The company helped me determine how many payments I needed to sell in order to come up with the cash that I needed to get caught up on my mortgage and other bills. In just a few short weeks I was able to close the deal and have the cash that I needed to get back on my feet. Getting cash for structured settlements was a great decision for me and my family.

Cash for Structured Settlement Payments Helped Me Move Along, Part II

In the last post I talked about the change in the economy and how it changed my picture of my future. I had planned on being retired at this time in my life - settling down to enjoy the perks of all my hard work over the years. In fact I figured that I would be traveling at this point. Instead, my investments had taken a tumble along with the rest of the stock market and I was operating with a much different budget than I had planned to have at my disposal. Now I was back at work and trying to make ends meet just like everyone else. It was a hard pill to swallow when I thought that my working days were done. I had no other choice but to rally and make the best of my situation; working with what I had available to me. It turns out, that one of the things available to me was my structured settlement. I had only looked at my structured settlement as another income flow. The money was awarded to me in a personal injury case but it wasn’t given to me all at once; instead the money was deposited into an annuity and I was sent payments on a monthly basis. This was great; don’t me wrong. It was terrific to have extra money coming in every month; but there was more that I could be doing with this money.

The choice to sell structured settlements could give me money beyond what I was getting on a monthly basis. Working with a buyer, I could trade future payments for cash today which is exactly what I am doing. I found a reputable purchasing company who I am working with and now I have the cash that I need to help me move along.

There’s not much that I haven’t experienced in this lifetime and, I’m sorry to say, that includes financial struggle. I could not have predicted that I would be struggling at this time in my life, however. In fact, I was supposed to be retired by now but the economy had other plans and I’m still working - a victim of investments that bottomed out in the stock market. Now that I am in a different financial situation that I thought I would be I have had to make some adjustments and that’s been difficult. I had a picture in my head of what my life would look like at this point and this is certainly not it; it’s been hard to shift my focus. By making plans and adjusting to reality - instead of the picture I had in my head - I’ve been able to move along slowly but surely. Part of that plan has been to get cash for structured settlement payments.

I received the structured settlement awhile ago - a result of a personal injury case that was settled in my favor. The money didn’t come all at once; it was given to me in a structured settlement so that it comes in equal payments on a scheduled basis. These payments have been great; they are a secondary income stream for me and that has been enormously helpful with paying my bills and just having extra money with which to do what I want.

I didn’t know about the option to sell structured settlements but now that things were changing, I had to consider all of my options. I was about to learn more about selling annuity payments through a buyer and subsequently getting cash for structured settlement payments. More importantly, I would learn how to work within my new situation and make the best of these current circumstances. More in the next post…

Sell Structured Settlements and Get the Cash You Need

There’s not one person who is not hurting financially right now; the economy has all but crushed so many households - not to mention businesses and we’re all doing what we can to survive right now. Those who have structured settlements, however, have other options when it comes to accruing cash. In this case people have the option to sell structured settlements and get the cash that they need to stay afloat in this economy.

Getting cash for structured settlement payments is convenient and easy when you work with a reputable buyer - a purchasing company that has expertise and experience in the industry. The way in which it works is like this - the seller (the owner of the structured settlement payments that are coming to them on a scheduled basis) determines how many payments they have to sell to come up with the cash that they need. They then sell those annuity payments to a purchasing company. The buyer then becomes the rightful owner of those future payments while the seller gets the cash value of the payments today. This is cash they can do anything with - from paying down debt to using as a down payment on a home.

With so many people struggling to make ends meet right now it’s helpful to have options. Those who receive money on a monthly basis through a structured settlement have the ability to sell structured settlements and get the move on from financial struggle. Getting cash for structured settlement payments gives sellers the opportunity to get their debt under control, get back on their feet, put a savings cushion under them, and take control of their finances.

It’s most important under these circumstances to work with an appropriate buyer. Be sure to research buyers thoroughly to ensure that they have a solid reputation and a good standing in the industry.

Looking for a Buyer of Structured Settlement Annuity with a Good Reputation

The decision to sell annuity payments and get cash for structured settlement payments is not often something that is made lightly. Those who are in a tough financial position of course examine all of their options. And for some, there is no denying that one of the options available is to use the structured settlement payments that come to them on a monthly basis if they have been awarded a structured settlement.

Structured settlements are simply financial arrangements that are often made by the courts when money is awarded in a personal injury case. The money that is awarded, rather than being turned over to the claimant all at once, is put into an annuity and distributed evenly through periodic payments. Those who want to get cash for structured settlement payments, however, can choose to do so by selling annuity payments to a buyer - a purchasing company that will exchange the right to receive a particular number of future payments for cash. The seller then gets cash for structured settlement payments - future payments - that they can use today for whatever financial obligations are particular to their situation.

The most important consideration, as you can well imagine, is ensuring that you are working with a reputable buyer of structured settlement annuity - a purchasing company that you can trust to deliver sound advice and handle the transaction with expertise and professionalism. Turn to those who have used buyers before - something that you can easily find online and choose those companies that have a solid reputation, a history in the business, and solid financial backing. Experience and track record are enormously important in this situation and should be examined closely. If, however, you do your homework and ultimately find a solid buyer of structured settlement annuity payments that you can confidently trust then you will have guaranteed yourself a successful outcome.

Cash for Structured Settlement Helps to Right My Wrongs, Part II

In the last post I talked about my choice to get cash for structured settlement payments and use my structured settlement in the most effective way for my financial needs at the present time. I had been given the structured settlement as a result of a personal injury court case many years ago but I had always looked at the monthly annuity payments as an extra line of reliable income. I had grown to depend upon these payments to be sure, but I did not realize that there was so much more that I could be using them to do. The option really made itself clear when I was facing financial disaster. I had spent and charged and lived high on the hog for many years, comfortable that I could always pay the bills because of my high salary. Then I lost my job like so many people in this current economy and suddenly the source of income that could comfortably cover all the bills was gone. A medical procedure that racked up huge medical bills then pushed my debt into the next stratosphere. I had to do something to get back on my feet or we would even be at risk of losing our home.

I worked with a buyer of structured settlement annuity in order to get the cash that I needed to cover my debt. A buyer - a purchasing company - purchases future annuity payments in exchange for cash. So they will receive the annuity payments that they bought - when they come due in the future and I get cash for structured settlement payments today. Of course it’s important to work with a reputable company and I was able to find one that has a great reputation, is experienced and knowledgeable; a company that I trust. Now I will have the cash that I need to pay off my debt and give myself a clean financial slate - something that most people are not able to do and something for which I am very grateful.

Cash for Structured Settlement Helps to Right My Wrongs, Part I

I had not considered cash for structured settlement payments until I was over my head in debt and facing less than stellar options. There are always things in this life that you wish you could go back and make better; things that you have done that you wish you could take back a million different ways. Unfortunately most of us never have the opportunity to do this; we are confined to dealing with the repercussions of whatever decisions we have made over the course of our life. I have made mistakes like everyone else but what I most regretted was the financial decisions that I had made over the years; the decisions that would put my family in a precarious position later down the road. I had lived far beyond my means for two long, racking up debt and credit card balances that I thought I would always be able to pay with no issue. Then I lost my job. Then I got sick and found myself in need of a medical procedure that would increase my debt even further. Now I was in trouble - with only one income coming in on a monthly basis we were unable to keep pace with our incredible debt. Then I remembered that I had options when it came to my structured settlement - I could work with a buyer of structured settlement and get cash for structured settlement payments.

The structured settlement from which payments were sent to me every month was put in place years ago; a financial arrangement made by the courts in a personal injury case. I had always looked at the settlement as extra income but now I could really use it to my advantage to help me get out of debt - leveraging future payments for cash I could use today. A Buyer of Structured Settlement Annuity Helps Me Get Cash for Structured Settlement, Part II

In the last post I talked about the potential danger that awaited us in the face of our combined job loss. The economy had dealt a swift and mighty blow in terms of employment and we were by no means the only ones to have suffered job loss as a result. Now, however, we were in the position of having to figure out how best to deal with the financial ramifications. We were lucky not to have too much extraneous debt - we had listened to news of impending financial hardship and we had altered our spending accordingly; but still, we had debt from years of credit card use and the mortgage payments were beginning to fall behind. I had been down this road before. Financial hardship snowballs - once a payment is behind the next payment falls behind and so on until you are completely buried with no way to catch up without completely exhausting all of your financial resources - and then some. The choice to get cash from our structured settlement was the only choice we could make. We had annuity payments coming to us on a monthly basis from a personal injury structured settlement. While the money did help us month to month it was by no means doing all that it could to help us in this current financial situation. A buyer of structured settlement annuity would help us determine how best to use our annuity payments - by cashing them in for money we could use right now.

Working with a buyer of structured settlement annuity allowed us to get the cash for structured settlement payments that we needed; we simply traded in future payments for their cash value today. The money we received from the buyer helped us to pay off our debt, get caught up on all our payments and hopefully change the picture of our financial future.
